What do you love? The opportunity that my work gives me to meet, listen and understand each person that sits in my chair. When you feel beautiful, you look beautiful and that’s the kind of happiness I try to give every client.
What are your daily essentials? A kiss from my boys… My son Phil and my french bulldog Louis.

What is your approach to Hair? My number one priority is to keep the hair healthy! I love to listen to my clients about their needs and together we decide what is the best way to get the result we want. I’m always honest with my clients no matter what! It’s the only way you can have a truly transparent relationship.
What are your must-have tools? Sheers collection, razor, YS Park cutting combs, Ergo brushes.
Where do you find inspiration? Everywhere! my clients, people on the street, magazines, Pinterest & my talented teammates!
Why do you like working at Aidan James Salon? I Love my team! Everybody is so talented, professional and helpful! The atmosphere is very pleasant and cool.

My specialty: Women’s Short Haircuts, perfecting the look and color.

What do you love? Women’s short haircuts. I Love perfecting the look with color.
What is your Education? Toni & Guy Hair Cutting Academy, Goldwell, Aveda Certified Colorist
What is your approach to Hair? The most simple and the most natural is the most beautiful to me.
What are your must-have tools? My Custom-made Shears.
Where do you find inspiration? The Artists working around me and from the clients’ desires.

Kamryn Michel

Kamryn – Master Design & Master Artist

My specialty:  Short haircuts and razor cuts. Also, I specialize in corrective color, blonding, fantasy color, and balayage.
Years in the Industry: 7 Years.
What do you love? My family, friends, team, and life.
What are your daily essentials? My daily essentials are before work kisses from my boyfriend, sugar-free red bulls, and listening to Rock 101 on the morning drive to work.
What is your Education? My color education is from our in-house New Talent Program. I have learned cutting techniques from the curriculum of Nick Arrojo, Vidal Sassoon, and at the Goldwell Academy in NYC from their Global Cutting Ambassador, Jay Mahmood. I also am certified in Hot Heads Tape-In Hair Extensions.
What is your approach to Hair? I always look at the hair I work on as a blank canvas. No matter how many times I’ve seen the client. Every time is a new chance to make art.
What are your must-have tools? My Framar balayage brushes and my YS Park cutting combs.
Where do you find inspiration? I find inspiration for my work from all types of platforms, whether it be social media, magazines, or nature.

Megan

Megan – Senior Artist

My specialty:  Updos, braiding and haircutting.
Years in the Industry: 8 Years.
What do you love? I love my family, my pets, being outside and art.
What are your daily essentials? My daily essentials are coffee, music, eyeliner, kitty snuggles, dry shampoo, Living Proof flex hairspray and an extra hair tie.
What is your Education? Arrojo cutting, Arrojo occasion styling, Goldwell master colorist, KMS styling
What is your approach to Hair? My approach to hair is realistic. Dream hair is achievable, but most times it’s going to be a journey. Maintaining the integrity of the hair is the number one priority.
What are your must-have tools? My must-have tools are my Babyliss blowdryer, 1-inch curling iron, razor, Kamisori shears and Sam Villa combs.
Where do you find inspiration? I find inspiration in nature, either on a hike in the woods or a day at the beach.
Why do you like working at Aidan James Salon? I love working at AJS because of the creative and education based values. We have a mutual goal to stay up to date and never stop growing, working with each other rather than against each other, and the outcome of that is positive vibes and beautiful hair.

Lauren – Senior Artist

My specialty:  Hair cutting and color matching.
Years in the Industry: 6 Years.
What do you love? I love helping people feel more confident through their hair style.
What are your daily essentials? Coffee, water, and the gym.
What is your Education? Extensive training through Loreal Professional, and has trained at the Goldwell Academy in NYC.
What is your approach to Hair? To create looks for my guests that will be manageable and doable at home. And to educate my guests on how to best take care of their hair.
What are your must-have tools? Sharp shears and an open mind.
Where do you find inspiration? My guests, street style, visual art, current trends, music, fashion.

My specialty:  Creative Color, Balsyame & Blondes, Hair Extensions.

What do you love? My German Shepard, Oliver, My Family, The Beach, Skincare, Hair Products, Makeup, Being Outside!
What are your daily essentials? Coffee, Music, Lipstick.
What is your Education? Paul Mitchell School, Hotheads Hair Extensions certified, Brazillian Blowout / Keratin Treatment certified, Pulp Riot Preferred Artist Creative Color Specialist, Chris Appleton Styling, Sam Villa & Tracy Cunningham.
What is your approach to Hair? Your hair is my canvas, and to paint it is my art! There are no rules, its all about how you feel when you wear your hair.

What is your Education? Graduated Beauty School in 2005. Curl Authority Specialist through Redken. Former Educator at The Salon Professional Academy in San Jose, CA.
What is your approach to Hair? Consultation is key. Getting to know the person wearing the hair. 
What are your must-have tools? Hattori Hanzo Shears & Framar Color Brushes.
Where do you find inspiration? Through classes, meeting new people, and social media.
What’s it like to be in a team-based salon: It’s great working with a team that has your back and is there to help. I also love working for a salon that offers so much additional education.
